Digital switch date for Lincolnshire set

Lincolnshire will begin the switchover to digital television next summer, it has been announced.

On 3 August, the county will lose its analogue BBC2 signal, followed on 17 August by the remaining channels.

At the same time, the Freeview digital service will be boosted to reach virtually all households in the region.

The switchover date for the Chesterfield area has also been announced - it will begin on 10 August and be completed on 24 August.
