Center Parcs to cut 40 finance jobs at UK resorts

The holiday company Center Parcs is to cut jobs at its four UK resorts by moving all financial operations to its headquarters.

Sites in Suffolk, Nottinghamshire, Cumbria and Wiltshire currently have their own finance teams.

Up to 40 positions will go across the UK and 10 jobs will be created at its main office in Nottinghamshire.

The company said it was a difficult time for staff but the move would deliver "greater efficiency".

It said it was doing everything possible to support affected workers.

About 15 jobs are expected to be lost at Elveden Forest, near Brandon, Suffolk.

Staff will also be made redundant at Whinfell Forest at Penrith, Sherwood Forest at Rufford and Longleat Forest at Warminster.
