A 21-year-old man has appeared in court to admit killing a man in Gillingham.

Saulius Klevinskas, 35, of Grays, Essex, died from head injuries in hospital five days after the attack in Balmoral Road in August.

Ruben White, of Kingswood Road, Gillingham, had denied manslaughter and was due to face trial on 31 January at Maidstone Crown Court.

But White changed his plea and admitted the charge at the same court on Friday. He will be sentenced on 21 January.
