Two men who were killed on a travellers' site in Suffolk last week have been identified.

David Castell, 29, and 20-year-old Shane Hill, both from Southend in Essex, were found shot dead at Willow Park in Beck Row, near Mildenhall, on 15 March.

Provisional post-mortem examination results showed they both died from gunshot wounds.

Two men arrested in connection with the deaths have been released on bail.

Police were called to the scene following reports of shots and officers found the bodies of the two men.

Mr Castrell, of no fixed address, but who had been living in Southend, was found inside a car which had been set on fire.

Specialist teams are continuing to search of the travellers' site and its surrounding area and have recovered a number of firearms but it is not known if they are connected to the murders.

Armed police are also patrolling the area to provide public reassurance.
