Eleven men arrested over the murder of a businessman at his Sussex farm have had their bail extended until mid-May.

Julian Gardner, 53, died from multiple injuries last October after apparently disturbing intruders in outbuildings at Bush Barn Farm, near Robertsbridge.

Sussex Police have arrested 11 men and a woman from Kent, since the incident. The woman has been released from bail.

Police believe Mr Gardner disturbed an unknown number of people in a burglary that went wrong.

He suffered compression-type injuries, possibly caused when he was crushed between two vehicles in the early hours of 11 October, post-mortem tests revealed.
