Oxfordshire death crash driver pleads guilty

A motorist who killed an 80-year-old man in Oxfordshire has been cleared of death by dangerous driving but admitted a lesser charge.

Percy Raby died when his Vauxhall Agila was hit by Derek St Clair's Honda CRV, near Nettlebed, on 2 February 2010.

Mr Raby, from Berkshire, was changing a tyre on his car when the crash happened on the A4130, Oxford Crown Court heard.

St Clair, 46, of Henley, Oxfordshire, admitted the lesser charge of causing death by careless driving.

He will be sentenced on 3 May.
