Indecent assault on woman in Holland on Sea

A woman in her 50s has been indecently assaulted while out walking her two dogs in Essex.

The attack took place near a toilet block in Frinton Road, Holland on Sea, at about 1940 BST on Sunday.

The woman was approached by a man on a mobility scooter who then indecently assaulted her.

When the woman went to the front door of a house to seek help, the man rode off. Anyone with information has been asked to contact Essex Police.

'Shocked and frightened'

Police said the man was not believed to be disabled and appeared to have borrowed the scooter.

He is white, about 18 years old, 6ft (1.8m) tall, of slim build, with mousey short hair and was wearing a dark bomber jacket.

Det Con Phil Parish said: "This incident took place in broad daylight and has left the woman concerned, shocked and frightened.

"I ask anyone who saw what took place or can help to identify the young man involved to contact me."
