Man jumps from moving lorry in police pursuit
A man who jumped from a moving lorry in Devon has been arrested following a police pursuit on the A30.
Police said the lorry had been stolen from a business in Redruth in Cornwall at about 2340 BST on Wednesday.
Officers followed the vehicle from the A30 at Bodmin until the driver jumped out of the moving lorry at Sourton Cross near Okehampton.
A 31-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of aggravated vehicle theft and remains in custody.
A police spokesperson said the lorry crashed up an embankment and into a wall.
They added that the vehicle was driven away once the arrest was made.
Traffic officers, a dog handler and the police helicopter were used in the pursuit.
