Family pays tribute to man killed in Essex shooting

A family has paid tribute to a 42-year-old man killed in a shooting in Essex.

Anthony Prickett, 42, of St Osyth, was found in Park Road, St Osyth, just before 0500 BST on Thursday and died later in hospital.

A family statement said Mr Prickett "would light up any room with his fantastic sense of fun and laughter, and his smile was legendary".

"He lived life to the full and never let anything get him down, he was quite simply one of a kind," the family said.

Police said on Saturday a third person - a woman, 48, from the Clacton area, had been arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to murder.

Two men, aged 36 and 59, from the Clacton area, were arrested earlier on suspicion of conspiracy to murder.
