A child sex offender has been brought back to the UK by Sussex Police after being found to have breached his notification requirements.

Kenneth Parker, 56, was arrested in France with his twin, Thomas, in April.

They were the first twins to have their details published on the Child Exploitation and Online Protection Centre (CEOP) most wanted website.

Kenneth Parker appeared before Hastings magistrates on Saturday charged with breaching the notification order.

He was remanded in custody and is due to appear before the same court in July.

'Most wanted list'

His last known address was in Sussex but the twins are also said to have links to Warwickshire.

Breaching the requirements of the sex offenders register carries up to five years in prison.

Sussex Police said officers travelled to Charles de Gaulle Airport outside Paris on Friday and escorted Parker back to the UK and into custody.

CEOP put the pair on its most wanted list in March.

It said in April that Thomas Parker, who was held in connection with a non-sexually related matter, had also been wanted for breaching his notification requirements.

His last known address was in Liverpool.
