Dover fake stamps find: arrest warrant issued
A warrant has been issued for the arrest of a man alleged to have forged more than 10,000 first-class stamps found by customs officers at Dover.
Robert Aleksiejczyk, 32, from Salford, Greater Manchester failed to appear before Canterbury Crown Court on Monday where he had been due to enter a plea.
Polish national Mr Aleksiejczyk was charged with possession of a false instrument after a routine check.
A total of 10,656 forged stamps were found in a car boot at the Kent port.
The check was carried out on 14 February after a ferry arrived from Calais.
