Hertfordshire taxidermist accused over exotic animals

A taxidermist from Hertfordshire has been charged with hiding the bodies of a black bear, an orangutan and other exotic species in his freezer.

Simon Wilson, 49, is also accused of keeping a dead endangered tiger for commercial gain.

It is alleged he also kept a mandrill, a leopard skin and a peregrine falcon in a freezer at his workshop Bovingdon.

Mr Wilson, of Rickmansworth, is due to appear at City of Westminster Magistrates' Court next Tuesday.
