Two men have appeared at Truro Crown Court charged with murder after the discovery of two bodies on a remote farm in Cornwall.

Thomas Haigh, 25, and Ross Stone, 28, who is also charged with illegally disposing of a corpse, made no plea.

Mr Haigh, of no fixed address, and Mr Stone, of Trenance Downs near St Austell, were remanded in custody.

Two bodies, which are still being identified, were found buried near St Austell earlier this month.

The discovery followed the disappearance in June of David Griffiths, 35, from Plymouth, who was living in Berkshire, and Brett Flournoy, 31, from Wirral, Merseyside.

Mr Haigh and Mr Stone are due to reappear at Truro Crown Court in January.
