Horsham car park stabbing: Three men bailed

Three men arrested after a man was stabbed in a leisure centre car park in West Sussex have been released on bail.

The 29-year-old was assaulted in the Pavilions leisure centre car park, in Horsham, at 02:20 BST on Saturday as he was walking home from a nearby club.

He suffered stab wounds to the body, and serious head injuries consistent with being punched and kicked.

Sussex Police said the three men, aged 19, 20 and 22, had been bailed until 6 October pending further inquiries.

All three are from the Horsham area.

The assault victim remains in the East Surrey Hospital in Redhill. His injuries are not thought to be life threatening.
