M3 junction two at the Thorpe Interchange reopens after car overturns

A section of the M3 in Surrey has reopened following a crash in which a car overturned.

The eastbound carriageway of the motorway was shut at junction two, at the Thorpe Interchange, where the M3 meets the M25.

Highways Agency officials said they had to shut the junction to carry out emergency repairs to a barrier.

The carriageway reopened just before 10:00 BST. It is not yet known if there were any injuries.

The M25 fully reopened on Saturday night after being shut for more than 24 hours following a crash between junctions seven and eight.
