Gatwick restaurant manager David Hartwell on sex charges

A man has been accused of sexually assaulting women while working as a restaurant manager at Gatwick Airport, police have said.

David Hartwell, 26, of Rookwood Avenue, New Malden, south London, is due at Crawley Magistrates' Court on Friday.

Sussex Police said Mr Hartwell had been charged with 16 offences against five women between September 2009 and August last year.

The charges follow an investigation by detectives based at the airport.
