Gatwick restaurant boss David Hartwell bailed by court

A 26-year-old restaurant manager at Gatwick Airport has appeared in court accused of a series of sexual assaults.

David Hartwell is charged with 16 offences against five women at the West Sussex airport between September 2009 and August last year.

Mr Hartwell, of Rookwood Avenue, New Malden, south London was remanded on bail by Crawley magistrates on Friday. He did not enter a plea.

He is due to appear in court before Mid Sussex magistrates on 7 October.
