Raids target drug dealing network across England

Five people have been arrested by police investigating a drug dealing network based in Manchester and operating across the south of England.

About 100 officers from five forces raided addresses in Plymouth, Southampton, Manchester and Sheffield at about 07:00 BST.

Two men from Manchester, one from Bournemouth, a woman from Southampton and another from Sheffield were held.

The raids are part of an ongoing operation against drug dealing cells.
