Motorist released on bail after Chilgrove collision
A 62-year-old motorist, arrested following the death of a motorcyclist from Germany in a collision in West Sussex, has been released on bail.
The 49-year-old biker was airlifted to hospital with serious injuries after the accident on the B2141 at Chilgrove on Friday morning but died later.
Police said his German classic motorbike was in collision with an Alfa Romeo car at about 10:20 BST.
The driver was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.
It is understood the motorcyclist was on his way to the Goodwood Revival historic motor race meeting, near Chichester.
