Leatherhead motorcyclist dies after Duncton car crash

A 79-year-old man motorcyclist has died in hospital in London following a collision with a car in West Sussex.

The rider, from Leatherhead in Surrey, was taken to King's College Hospital by air ambulance after the accident on the A285 at Duncton, near Petworth.

Sussex Police said the Honda motorcycle was travelling north when it was in a crash with a Peugeot 306 travelling south at 14:50 BST on Wednesday.

The car driver, a 22-year-old man from Carshalton, south London, was unhurt.
