A 45-year-old man who absconded from a prison in Surrey in August has been found in Kent.

Surrey Police said Mark Burnside, 45, who was last seen at HMP Coldingley in Bisley on 25 August, was found on Friday and had been sent back to jail.

The search for him began after he failed to return after going out on a one-day licence.

He was sentenced to nine years in jail this year for conspiring to supply Class A drugs in Kent, police said.
