A bed firm with sites in Somerset and Wiltshire has gone into administration, putting 140 jobs at risk.

Norian Beds has been a family-run firm, manufacturing beds and mattresses, for 27 years at sites in Trowbridge in Wiltshire and Bridgwater in Somerset.

The company, which employs 90 staff in Trowbridge and 50 in Bridgwater, ceased manufacturing last Monday.

Managers claim cashflow problems arose, after Focus DIY went into administration owing the firm £250,000.
