Birmingham man held after fatal stabbing

A Birmingham man has been arrested on suspicion of murder after a 22-year-old was found stabbed in a street.

The 32-year-old was arrested on Monday after the man was discovered in Nine Acres Drive, Chelmsley Wood, on Sunday evening and died in hospital.

Disorder began at St Anne's Social Club and spilled over into Nine Acres Drive, it was understood.

The victim, from Henley-in-Arden, Warwickshire, was found at about 18:15 GMT with a stab injury to the stomach.

A 46-year-old man, from the Chelmsley Wood area, suffered a hand injury.
