New buses on Telford to Stafford service

A company is investing £780,000 in a fleet of new buses for its service in Shropshire and Staffordshire.

Arriva Midlands said the six new vehicles, known as midibuses, would be working on its 481 route linking Telford and Stafford.

The 38-seat buses will be based in Wellington and will call at a number of places along the way.

Bob Hind, the company's regional managing director, called it a "significant" investment.
