Man dies nine days after crash in Langton Matravers

A 77-year-old man has died from his injuries more than a week after he was in a head-on crash in Dorset.

The victim was driving a Vauxhall car towards Swanage when he was involved in a collision with a Citroen on the A351 Valley Road in Langton Matravers.

The man was taken to Southampton hospital after the crash on 30 November, where he later died from his injuries on 9 December, police said.

The coroner has yet to release the name of the victim, from Worthing, Sussex.

Two men from Dorchester who were travelling in the Citroen suffered minor injuries, police said.
