Torquay man, 43, stabbed and robbed at cash machine

A man is in hospital after being robbed and stabbed in the stomach at a cash machine in Devon.

Devon and Cornwall Police said the victim was attacked in Westhill Avenue, Torquay, on Thursday night between 21:00 and 22:00 GMT.

The 43-year-old local man is in a serious but stable condition in Torbay Hospital.

Police have appealed for any witnesses who may have seen three men in their 20s in area at the time of the attack.

One of the suspects is described as aged between 20 and 25, about 6ft 2in (1.9m) tall and possibly wearing a hearing aid.
