A Brazilian-born rapper and former contestant on I'm a Celebrity is to stand trial after pleading not guilty to raping two women.

Aggro Santos, 23, is accused of one rape in Chichester, West Sussex, on 7 May last year and another in Yeovil, Somerset, between 24-27 September 2010.

Another man, Tyrelle Ritchie, 21, is charged with one count of sexual assault in Chichester on the same date.

Both men, who are from London, denied the charges at Chichester Crown Court.

Mr Santos, who appeared under his real name Yuri Santos, of Bickersteth Road, Tooting, and Mr Ritchie, of Vauxhall Street, Lambeth, were granted conditional bail and told they would stand trial on 13 August.

Mr Santos's debut single, Candy, featuring former Pussycat Dolls singer Kimberly Wyatt, shot to number five in the UK charts in 2010.

But he became more popularly known through his appearance in that year's series of ITV's reality game show I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! in which he reached the last six.
