Brighton crash driver Roger Smith died naturally

A Kent lorry driver who died in hospital after crashing into several parked cars died of natural causes, police have said.

Roger Smith, aged 52, of Ashford, was driving a goods vehicle that crashed in Queens Park Road, Brighton, on 5 January.

He was taken to the Royal Sussex County Hospital in Brighton but died later.

Sussex Police said a post-mortem examination found he died of natural causes.

A wall in front of a row of terraced houses was also damaged during the crash and six homes were evacuated.
