Anglian Water apology for supply cut in Cambridgeshire

Dozens of homes and a primary school were left without water after a main feeding two Cambridgeshire villages and surrounding area burst.

Primary school children had to return home when water was cut off to Sutton and Haddenham near Ely.

Anglian Water apologised when water pressure fell to low levels or supplies were cut off entirely earlier.

A spokesman said it was caused by a burst water main and engineers were working to restore supplies.
