A woman from Devon has pleaded not guilty to murdering a man in Dorset.

Carol Kemp, 44, is charged with the murder of 43-year-old Martin Andrew Rusling, who was stabbed to death in Portland on Boxing Day.

Police and ambulance crews were called to Park Road after a member of the public raised the alarm.

Ms Kemp, of St Marychurch, Torquay, was remanded in custody after the hearing at Winchester Crown Court, to reappear there for a trial on 16 July.
