Cocaine in chocolate at Gatwick Airport: Two arrested

A 16-year-old girl and a woman were arrested after cocaine with an estimated value of £350,000 was found inside tubs of chocolate at Gatwick Airport.

The drug, weighing about 7.7lb (3.5 kg), was found inside a suitcase after they arrived on a flight from Antigua on Saturday, the UK Border Agency said.

The girl and the 39-year-old woman, both from Walsall in the West Midlands, were held at the South Terminal.

Both were bailed until 8 June.
