Seven charged over West Bromwich Co-op bank armed raid

Seven men have been charged in connection with an armed robbery at a West Midlands bank.

The Co-operative Bank in West Bromwich High Street was raided by robbers armed with baseball bats on 26 November.

Seven men, aged 18 to 30 and from London, Handsworth in Birmingham and West Bromwich, were charged with conspiracy to commit robbery.

Appearing before magistrates earlier, they were remanded in custody to appear at Birmingham Crown Court on 2 May.
