Landslip in Essex sees trains on London line delayed

Debris from a landslip has been cleared from a rail line after causing train delays between London and East Anglia.

The landslip between Audley End in Essex and Cambridge blocked lines to Cambridgeshire, Essex, Hertfordshire and Norfolk.

Operator Greater Anglia said Cambridge-bound trains were stopped but services towards London were not affected.

Network Rail said mud, debris and tree roots from the embankment were cleared and services resumed by 07:20 GMT.
