The funeral has been held for a 16-year-old boy who died when the car he was in went into a lake.

Ben Henshaw, from Alveley, Shropshire, was found in the Great Pool in Burnhill Green, Staffordshire, on 6 August after a Peugeot 206 left Patshull Road.

The 18-year-old man driving the car and a 15-year-old girl managed to get out of the water. No other vehicles were involved, police said.

Ben was remembered at St Mary's Church in Alveley.

In a statement, his parents Tim and Trudi said Ben was a "wonderful son, brother and grandson" who had "such a positive and fun-loving attitude towards life".
