One-year-old dies in Cambridgeshire crash

A one-year-old child has died in a crash in Cambridgeshire.

The child was in a Peugeot 307 which was involved in a collision with a Ford Mondeo on the B1101 at Friday Bridge, near March, at 10:17 BST.

The driver of the Peugeot, a 47-year-old man from March, suffered serious injuries and is in Addenbrooke's Hospital, Cambridge.

The driver of the Mondeo, a 49-year-old man from Nordelph, Norfolk, also suffered serious injuries.

He was also taken to Addenbrooke's Hospital.

Sgt Chris Huggins, of Cambridgeshire Police, said: "I would like to hear from anyone who witnessed the collision or who saw either vehicle in the moments leading up to the collision."
