Stroud motorcyclist killed in Quedgeley lorry crash
A motorcyclist has been killed and his pillion passenger seriously injured in a collision in Gloucester.
The man, 43, from Stroud, was riding on the A38 in Quedgeley when the collision with a lorry happened shortly before 09:00 BST. His family have been told.
A woman, 21, from Stonehouse is being treated in Frenchay Hospital for "life-threatening injuries".
Police arrested the 48-year-old lorry driver, from Highbridge in Somerset, on suspicion of dangerous driving.
The A38 carriageway between Cole Avenue and Waterwells was closed for three hours while officers investigated the scene.
