Nile Ranger charges dropped in criminal damage case

A charge of criminal damage against Newcastle United striker Nile Ranger has been dropped.

Police were called to a house in Enfield, north London, on 23 September after a report of a disturbance.

Scotland Yard said officers arrived at the scene to find the front door of the property badly damaged.

The case against Mr Ranger was dismissed at Enfield Magistrates' Court. The 21-year-old was bound over to keep the peace for 12 months.
