Lynnette Davison named as woman killed in A69 crash

A 52-year-old woman who died in a three-vehicle crash on a main road in Northumberland has been named.

Lynnette Davison, from Askam-in-Furness, Cumbria, was killed in the crash on the A69 between Hexham and Haydon Bridge on Saturday afternoon.

She was pronounced dead at the scene of the collision which involved a Ford Focus, an Audi TT and a Vauxhall van.

The 57-year-old male van driver suffered a broken arm. The 50-year-old man driving the other car was not hurt.

Northumbria Police are appealing for witnesses.
