Sussex and Lancashire police search for missing Sandra Hall

Sandra Hall Sandra Hall went missing from her home in Bognor Regis on 3 February

The search is continuing for a 56-year-old woman missing from her West Sussex home for more than two weeks.

Sandra Hall was last seen in Bognor Regis on 3 February, with a possible sighting in Lancaster, Lancashire, a week ago also being investigated.

Sussex Police said specialist units had carried out extensive searches of the Slindon Common and Binstead Wood areas.

Earlier checks with banks, hospital admissions and homeless shelters were also being repeated, a spokesman said.

Sgt Chris Pipkin said CCTV images had been circulated in and around the town centre of Lancaster along with appeal posters displayed in a number of shops and cafes.

"We will continue to view CCTV from railway stations and bus routes both in Sussex and Lancaster and any further reported sightings of Sandra will be investigated," he added.

Family and friends of Ms Hall were extremely concerned for her welfare but still held out hope she would be found safe and well, Sgt Pipkin said.
