Sam Jennings: Arrest over Cookley crash

Sam Jennings Samantha Jennings had two children

A man has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving following a crash in December.

Sam Jennings, 26, from Kingswinford, was a front-seat passenger in a car which hit a tree during the early hours of 8 December on the A449 in Cookley, near Kidderminster.

She died at the scene. The car driver was seriously injured and a rear-seat passenger suffered minor injuries.

A 22-year-old man from Stourbridge has been arrested and released on bail.

He was also arrested on suspicion of driving while unfit through drink or drugs, and possessing cannabis.
