Four-year-old A3072 crash boy's injuries life threatening
A child involved in a road accident on the Devon and Cornwall border at the weekend is critically ill in hospital.
The four-year-old boy sustained life-threatening head injuries in the single-vehicle crash on the A3072 near Holsworthy on Saturday.
The boy was initially airlifted to Derriford Hospital in Plymouth, before being moved to Frenchay Hospital in Bristol.
The driver - a 32-year-old local woman - is in hospital with back injuries.
A Devon and Cornwall Police spokesperson said the woman and child, who have not been named, were local to the area.
