Escaped HMP Springhill inmate Dean Cambage arrested

A man wanted by police after absconding from a jail in Buckinghamshire has been arrested.

Dean Cambage, 31, escaped from HMP Springhill in Grendon Underwood, Buckinghamshire, close to the border with Oxfordshire, on 7 April.

Cambage, who is now in custody, was arrested by Metropolitan Police officers in Enfield, London on Tuesday.

A 22-year-old woman from Enfield was also arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender and remains in custody.
