John Bush John Bush has been charged with child abduction

A 35-year-old man who went missing from Doncaster with a 14-year-old girl has been charged with child abduction.

John Bush, 35, from Askern, Doncaster, has also been charged with making off without payment, South Yorkshire Police said.

He is due to appear at Doncaster Magistrates' Court on Monday.

The teenager was found "safe and well" in London on Friday after being spotted by a plain-clothes police officer.

Sightings of the pair were reported in Doncaster, Leicestershire and Watford.

Det Ch Insp Craig Robinson said: "I would like to thank the media and the public for their help and support with this case."

The girl went missing from her school in Doncaster on Monday.
