M42 service station robbery arrests

Two men have been arrested after a robbery at a service station in Worcestershire.

West Mercia Police said the incident involved a "cash in transit vehicle" at the Hopwood Service Station on the M42.

One man was arrested in the Alvechurch area and the other in the Birmingham area, a spokesperson added.

Officers from the West Mercia and West Midlands forces, and the Central Motorway group are involved in the ongoing operation, police said.
