Third man arrested over West Malling jeweller's robbery

A third man has been arrested in connection with an armed robbery at a jeweller's shop in Kent.

Police said a large amount of jewellery was taken during a raid at Andrew Smith, High Street, West Malling on 9 August, reportedly by two men armed with an axe.

The men fled the scene in a blue Peugeot 106, driven by a third man waiting outside.

A 27-year-old London man has been arrested and remains in police custody.

Two more men, aged 27 and 29, were arrested on 11 August on suspicion of robbery, and later released on bail until October.
