Thirteen suspected drug dealers have been arrested in raids in Lancashire and Merseyside.

Officers executed warrants at addresses in Heysham, Bootle, Walton, Liverpool, Croston, Lostock Hall, Banks, Rufford, Hesketh Bank and Southport earlier.

Twelve men and one woman have been arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to supply cocaine and cannabis.

Police said the raids are part of an investigation into drugs being sold in Lancashire, Merseyside and Scotland.

The raids were led by Lancashire's serious and organised crime unit.
