M6 crash death man's family pay tribute

The family of a driver killed in a crash on the M6 in south Cumbria have described him as the life and soul of the party.

Paul Ross was driving a Ford which was involved in a collision with a Fiat Fiorino van on the northbound carriageway on Monday.

The 42-year-old from Whickham, Newcastle, died at the scene.

His family said he was "kind hearted and generous" and would be "terribly missed" by all who knew him.

The van driver, a 45-year-old man from Merseyside, was treated in hospital for minor injuries.
