Man arrested over Chester City Walls stabbing
An 18-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder following a stabbing in Chester last month.
The 35-year-old man was stabbed in the chest as he walked along City Walls at about 21:30 BST on 21 October.
A 22-year-old man from Chester who was charged with attempted murder has been eliminated from the investigation, police said.
Officers are keen to trace a member of the public who spoke to the victim on St Werburgh Street before the attack.
Det Insp Helen Spooner said the potential witness "may not realise he could have important information".
The man who was stabbed has been discharged from hospital, police said.
