Two men have been arrested by police investigating the murder of Zain Sailsman in Macclesfield.

A 24-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder and a 23-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender.

Both are in police custody being questioned over the death of the 19-year-old last month.

Ricky Jervis, 22, and Charles Beadell, 22, of Congleton, have already been charged with murder.

Mr Sailsman was found lying in the road in Bullocks Lane, Sutton, at 18:45 GMT on 30 October. He was taken to hospital where he died a short time later.

Five others have been bailed pending further inquiries; two women aged 26 and 35, and a 23 year-old man arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender, and two men, aged 21, from Liverpool and Congleton on suspicion of murder.

Cheshire Police are still appealing for help in tracing Mr Sailsman's movements in the hours before he died.

A post-mortem examination found the cause of death was a single stab wound.
