Man, 18, appears in court over Chester City Walls stabbing

An 18-year-old man has appeared in court charged with the attempted murder of a man who was stabbed in the chest.

The 35-year-old man was attacked as he walked along the City Walls in Chester at about 21:30 GMT on 21 October.

Floyd Evans, of Stanley Street, Chester, appeared before magistrates in the city earlier.

He was remanded in custody to appear at Chester Crown Court on 25 November. Police said the stabbed man had been discharged from hospital.

A man who was previously charged with attempted murder has since been eliminated from the police investigation.
